@hesploro12 So, it all started with my hc that Ivan rents out an apartment (or house) from G-ma Betty for really cheap, then it escalated into G-ma Betty renting out houses and apartments she owns for really cheap to help with the problem of homeless people in California, really just America, but mainly California for the sake of the hc. I say owns bc a big part of this hc is that she's essentially one of the richest people, maybe even the richest, in Amber Beach.

I also hc that she rents out a house for Tyler and his mom. This started after James left bc they lost a big income for the household and had to move.

She also owns quite a few small chains of restaurants, convenient stores, and thrift stores in California and other places around the country. She owns a couple in California, Nevada, Oregon, and Arizona she also owns four or five in Texas, where she and Kendall lived before Kendall moved to Amber Beach after college so she could work at the museum. All of the stores and restaurants employ people who either need help getting back on their feet or people who want to help others out. There's a convenient store in the city that Matt, Kaylee, and Riley live when they're with their mom. It's right next to their old high school and was each of their first jobs.

She regularly donates to charities across the country to raise money for homeless people and survivors of very traumatic experiences. (Example: veterans with PTSD, abuse survivors, etc.) She also helps raise money for sick children, veterans, and adults. She often volunteers at food kitchens and food drives, and she donates food and clothes to schools that do a school pantry or something similar. She'll also do substitute teaching for some extra money to donate more and to help kids out. When Kendall was in school, G-ma Betty and her would tutor the kids at her school who were struggling with the work. G-ma Betty continues the tutoring even after Kendall leaves for college. She also picks up little odd jobs like organizing books at a local library. She'll also donate books she and Kendall both liked to the libraries she worked at. New copies, obviously, she wouldn't want her well worn copy falling apart in a kid's hands.

Whatever money she doesn't donate goes toward buying necessities for herself and also buying the food and clothes for the charities she donates to. She's helped many people get help, and she plans on continuing to do so until she can't anymore. Which means she'll do it until she gets gravely sick or dies. When she dies, which will happen at some point no matter how much Kendall denies it, they both know this. She has made a will that practically sums up to: 'My granddaughter, Kendall Morgan, will get all of my money, stores, and restaurants along with a list of charities that I trust and regularly donate to so that she and her future, or current, family can continue on helping people as best as they can.'

If Kendall unbonds from her Energem and passes away, she leaves everything to Heckyl so he can continue to help. A direct quote she said was: "If you don't do this for me, I will come back and haunt your ass, understood?" Heckyl, being very scared because Kendall would actually do that, immediately agrees to do whatever she wants him to with the money.

She has also started a couple of charities herself. A couple she has started are ones to help trans and queer youth get away from unaccepting households and so they can get therapy if they need it. She's also started ones to help parents of autistic children understand their kids better. She has started quite a few charities to help find and get justice for MMIWG2S (Missing and Murdered Indigenous, Women, Girls, and Two Spirit)

She's taken in plenty of foster kids and helps them find good families to live with, and has even adopted some of them herself. This one kind of goes with another hc that @miss-morgans-lover and I have that we will not be talking about bc this is ab badass G-ma Betty and not that hc.

When growing up, Kendall wanted to be like G-ma Betty so much, so she would help whoever she could growing up. This includes volunteering in the special ed classes at her school and volunteering at a daycare near her house as soon as she was old enough. She liked to help others from the moment she could walk. She and her mom would go with G-ma Betty to food kitchens and hand out fresh food for the hungry people. She would help her parents with almost everything until they died when she was 15. Even after her parents' death, she would help G-ma Betty with the stuff she did beforehand.

Kendall’s first job was at one of the thrift stores G-ma Betty owns, and she loved it. She would go there directly after she finished tutoring anyone she could help. She would do her homework there when they weren't that busy. The first person she told other than G-ma Betty about her early admission scholarship to Stanford was the coworker that she was working with the day she found out. The coworker was an older man who had become like a father to her over the years of them working together. She still thinks about him to this day and wonders if he would be proud of her if he found out about her being a Ranger. She also wonders the same about her parents.

This was wayyyyy too long, and I had to rewrite a big portion of it bc I fucked up and accidentally exited without saving it, so I hope this explains it well.

Crush: (Término) En inglés viene a ser como “Amor platónico”, yo lo considero ese BUM que me atropella cada vez que me gusta alguien completamente INALCANZABLE.

Y esto me pasa mucho. Quiero decir que hay crushes inamovibles como los ya conocidos Mads Mikkelsen o Jared Leto… pero a menudo, MUY A MENUDO, me vuelve a pasar. Así que hoy os traigo la lista de crushes actuales completamente al día. Allá vamos.

1. HARRY STYLES.

Este es algo así como el REY de los crushes. El bae por excelencia. Ya mismo hace un año que vi el Carpool Karaoke de One Direction y justo en el momento en el que Harry se montó en el coche yo sentí como el corazón se me salía por la boca. Creo que representa TODO lo que puede gustarme de un chico: Pelo largo, tatuajes, británico, estilazo, es idiota… He hecho muchas locuras por este hombre y creo que desde luego es uno de esos crushes que quedará instaurado en mi vida, como ya lo hicieron Mads o Jared. Es horrible ser fan de cualquier cosa que esté relacionada con One Direction porque hay un séquito de fans con el que pelear cuando sale algo nuevo acerca de Harry… si quieres saber la que lié para conseguir la revista en la que Harry es portada, echa un ojo. Creo que este tío y yo lo compartimos todo en la vida: Gustos musicales, preferencias en la moda, filosofías de vida, y hasta gusto con las mujeres (véase en el punto 3).

2. NORMAN REEDUS.

Este crush no es nuevo, pero me olvidé de él durante un tiempo por culpa de la tirria que le cogí a The Walking Dead (serie de la que vuelvo a ser muy fan). Me encanta este tio, porque no lo conozco, pero tiene aspecto de ser la típica celebridad a la que le importa una mierda ser popular y hace siempre lo que le da la gana. Me crusheé mucho con él en la primera temporada de TWD, allá por 2010… encaja en el tipo de tío que suele molarme: Mayor, motero, con tatus, rockero y despreocupado con la imagen. Digamos que no me vuelve tan loca como el de arriba, pero el crush ESTÁ AHÍ. Gracias a dios es mucho más fácil estar enamorada de Norman… es un tío que no da un drama ni un problema, y eso está genial porque bastante drama me da el número 1.

3. KENDALL JENNER.

Tenía que haber una chica en esta lista y tenía que ser ella. La peque de las Kardashian. Seguro que os suena, porque es una supermodelo ahora mismo, y porque vivo en constante conflicto con ella porque es la ex más problemática de Harry y ya sabéis, DRAMITA. Me parece tan preciosa… TAN PRECIOSA… no sé, pero es como imagino que sería mi novia si algún día me cambio de acera. El crush con ella sucedió durante alguno de los episodios de Keeping up with the Kardashians, seguramente iría sin maquillar y despeinada y en fin, ENAMORADA PARA SIEMPRE. Eso sí, la quiero todo lo alejada posible que pueda estar de Harry.

*Anécdota graciosa: Una noche soñé que yo era novia de Harry, conocía a Kendall, me liaba con ella y después íbamos las dos cogidas de la mano a explicárselo a Harry. Ojalá hubiera acabado en trío, pero NO.

4. WAGNER MOURA.

Todos sabéis que para mí este verano ha sido el verano de “NARCOS”. No os voy a mentir diciendo que me crusheé de Wagner en la serie porque estaría mintiendo como una bellaca. Fue viendo una entrevista en la que ya había perdido los kilazos y se había afeitado el bigote. Me flipan los hombres que saben idiomas, me flipa su acento, además es cantante… Ha sido mi crush del verano, sin duda, pero tampoco me puedo extender mucho más porque solo le he visto en Narcos, aunque eso sí… lo hace fenomenal!!! Es brasileño, y eso le suma 1000 puntos.

5. JEFFREY DEAN MORGAN.

Este también acaba de llegar, aunque una vez más, ya le conocía de haberle visto en Supernatural o en Watchmen interpretando a mi badass favorito. Ahora vuelve como el badass y el villano definitivo a The Walking Dead y ¿qué queréis que os diga? siento debilidad por los hijos de puta. El tío tiene 50 tacos… pero quien lo pillara. Yo y los tíos mayores, otro clásico de manual. El motivo definitivo de que me haya reenganchado a una serie de zombies en la que ni siquiera salen zombies… pero sin resentimiento, me quedaré con Negan hasta el final.

6. EVAN PETERS.

Mi crush con Evan se remonta a la primera temporada de American Horror Story, pero siempre que acaba una temporada se me olvida su existencia y a la siguiente se me vuelve a encender el fuego. Una vez más: Tío despreocupado con su imagen, rollo un poco grunge, pelo rizado, sonrisa preciosa, frikazo… MY TYPE. De hecho muchas veces vuelvo a ver Murder House, porque Evan Peters me gusta, pero Tate Langdon es MY EVERYTHING, un torturado que odia la vida, lo que vengo a ser yo un lunes por la mañana.

“Is this the part where you try and woo me by playing these carnival games just to win me something that my heart desires?” you asked the men you’ve been dating for two months. There wasn’t much that you knew about Derek Morgan just that he works for law enforcement and he loves every minute of it. The relationship is fairly new, so you two are taking it slow to see how you two enjoy being around each other. From the beginning, you knew he was on call a lot and would be gone for long periods of time, but so far, it’s been great.

For your date night this week, he decided to take you to the local fair that was going on in town. He thought it would be best if he stayed close to home and work in case something does come up and he would need to leave at a moment’s notice. Since arriving, you two had gone on every rollercoaster, the log ride (twice), and that big ride that goes super high in the air only to come crashing down at a fast speed. The day had been filled with laughs and joy, and you two decided to settle down and play some of the fair games that were rigged.

“I’ll gladly do that for you if you want me to,” he grinned as he wrapped an arm around your shoulder. Taking a big bite of the cotton candy that he got you, you let it dissolve in your mouth before you spoke.

“Fine, then I get to pick the game.”

“Deal.”

Looking around the crowded venue, you enjoyed seeing families trying to win at ring toss just to get the chance to win the big stuffed teddy bears that would sit in the corner of the kids’ room after a week of playing with it. Skeeball was a popular game among the teenagers who thought they were in love. It gave the boys a chance to caress their girls from behind to “show them how it’s done”. It pulled on your heartstrings for a second until you realized they didn’t know real love even if it hit them in the face.

Competitive men and women played the game where you shoot water into a tiny hole to make their racehorse run across the board quicker. It was a fun game to place bets on, but that isn’t what interested you. Moving your eyes to the lake that was near, you saw older couples take paddle boats out for a relaxing way to end their night. It was something you wanted to do with Derek, but it wasn’t something you wanted to do right now. Those older couples looked so in love, you caught yourself wishing you would have that when you were their age. Maybe with Derek depending on how this relationship will go. It looks promising but never say never.

The one game that caught your eye was the shooting game where you had to hit the impossibly tiny stars located all over the backdrop as well as on the moving parts. Ever since you were little your father had taken you out shooting every year on the dot. It didn’t matter what you were shooting—rabbits, pigeons, turkeys, deer, etc.—you just enjoyed that you got to spend some time with him. When shooting season was at a low, he would take you to practice shooting in the woods as well as paintball shootings that always ended up with you two just covered in paint. It was a nice way to bond with him, but since he’s too old to handle a gun, you had to find something else that you two could enjoy.

Seeing that shooting game brought back many pleasant memories of the times where he made you shoot all kinds of things. He thought it was best if you knew how to handle a gun, especially different kinds. There was nothing that you couldn't miss, and the great thing about this is that Derek didn’t know that. With him being in law enforcement, you knew he had to know about guns and how to shoot one, so you wanted to see his reaction when you got a shot at the game and totally whooped his ass.

“I want to play that one,” you grinned as you pointed to the only game that looked badass enough for the two of you. He slyly grinned before taking your hand and leading you over to the man who smiled once he set his eyes on you.

“Do you dare try to beat the high score?” he asked excitedly.

“You go first,” you smiled as Derek paid the man. In exchange for the money, he took the gun and waited until the man told him to go. Once he got the green light, he began shooting. He missed a few of the moving targets and some of the standstill ones, but he got an impressive high score by the end of it. He looked so confident and focused, you couldn’t wait until it was your turn.

“You get to pick any of the medium-sized stuffed animals!” the man said.

“Which one do you want?” Derek asked with a victorious grin. After picking the stuffed dolphin, Derek was about to hand it to you when you slapped some money on the counter and took the gun from the man.

“It’s my turn,” you grinned as the man collected the money.

“Don’t be sad when you can’t get them all,” Derek smirked. He wasn’t trying to be mean to you, and you didn't take it that way. He was just teasing and playing around, and you were all for playing a little game with him.

“I won’t,” you chuckled before lining up your shot. Everything you learned from your father about shooting came forward in your mind, and you didn’t let anything distract you. When the man said you were in the clear, you began shooting quickly, hitting every single target you possibly could, and even hit the ones that Derek missed. He watched with wide eyes and a slacked jaw at your ability. You two have only been dating for two months, but he didn't expect this from you. When you hit the last target, you set the gun down when you achieved the high score.

“You won one of the big animals!” the man gasped.

“Never assume a woman can’t shoot, Morgan,” you grinned as you turned to face him. “Pick whichever one you like.”

“I’m impressed,” he nodded before picking out the same dolphin but in a bigger size. As the two of you walked away, you held your small dolphin close to your chest as Derek had to basically drag his.

“Where did you learn to shoot?” he asked as the two of you sat down to get something to eat.

“My father taught me. Every year he took me shooting for hunting, and for fun. When the season was at a low, he would take me practice shooting and paintball shooting.”

“What did he do for a living?”

“He was a police officer. He retired now, but I learned from the best,” you grinned.

“Do you ever think about going into law enforcement?”

“All the time. I grew up with it. Backyard parties crawling with cops. I couldn't even sneak out of my own house without one of my dad’s friends busting me, and when they did, I was lucky enough not to go to jail. He’s taken me to his work a bunch of times, I know the system pretty well. He even let me sit in on an interrogation for something minor as well as teaching me how to process someone.”

“My team could use someone like you.”

“And what does your team do? You never talk about your work.”

“Most people won’t want me to. I work for the BAU in the FBI.”

“Behavioral Analysis Unit. Why do you think that is a good fit for me?”

“I have a hunch, and my hunches are usually spot on,” he grinned.

“Oh yeah? What’s your hunch about me?”

“That you're smart and tactful. You don’t do anything without thinking about it first so I know that when you do act, you know it’s the right thing to do,” he began.

“Touché Derek. How about you buy me dinner and we can talk about whatever else you’re extremely good at,” you flirted. He laughed as he got up with a nod.

“That I can do,” he smiled.
